AT PLAY

Playing fetch with a tennis ball is fun, like children playing tag in the schoolyard.

Frisbee (flying disc dogs) is fun, but punishing, like children playing football.

--
The discs are hard on the mouth, should be checked often for burrs, should never be thrown to (at) the dog. Best advice is to warm up your dog with a series of short throws. Tory is a workaholic. I let him set the pace through out the session, which lasts twenty to forty minutes, depending on when he feels the need for a break. 'Remember, the idea is for your dog to run down the disc and catch it in the air.'

The Play Periods provide each companion with individual attention.
It is play, not a competition.

We believe that each of our companions needs, as well as, deserves, individual attention. They also need to be played with together.

When they are asked to perform tricks together, Tory is ALWAYS rewarded first.
Tory is the alpha dog.
