BRANDY

The most undemanding dog that we have ever owned.

Brandy too, is a rescued dog, of sorts. The daughter of an associate took him when the farmer/owner told her that he was going to shoot the pup if he didn't get a home. Unfortunately, her heart was bigger than her means. She couldn't keep him. Fortunately, we had room for him.

Brandy is an elderly gentleman who could care less about being number one.
He is an example of what can happen to a neutered dog. He was one of the few who blew up like a pork pie. Fighting his weight has been a constant struggle during his many years with us.

Brandy has difficulty climbing stairs or running for the front fence, but he still enjoys helping with chores, like feeding the goats. He especially enjoys his treats, and loves to perform his trick for them.

With his best friend Sean

Brandy is now fourteen years, very elderly. When he leaves us, we may or may not look for another Border Collie. We too are getting along in years, and want to feel confident that we will outlive any new additions to our family. In fact, it was a consideration before we acquired Patches.
