Welcome to the Art Corner! This section is dedicated to the world of art in which we live. All too often, we take for granted the multitude of objets d'art that surround us on a daily basis. Somewhere along the line, it was decided that one would need to trek to a museum in order to view and contemplate "Art." How absurd! Don't get me wrong, I have a passion for museums, but my point is simple. One needs only to take a look around - from the painting on your wall, to the can of Coke (Coca-cola, that is...) in your fridge, to the car in your driveway, to this very page that you're viewing. Art is all around us, whether we acknowledge it as such or not.

This, of course, begs the question, "exactly what is considered art?" To me, "Art" is anything created by man with the intent of generating a response in the beholder of the work...i have more ramblings to come on this subject, but let me stop here as i have some work to do...

While here, I hope you check out the pages on Darryl Mar's Mural (aka The Mural), which, through a series of gastly events became mine, as well. The section entitled "The Mural" gives an art historical analysis of the work, while the section dubbed "A Mural Story" gives an account of the history of The Mural, focusing primarily on my involvement in its creation. "My Art" contains samples of my artwork...and I think you can figure out what the "Art Links" page contains.
