Synopsis: Space Cabby discovers that his cab needs a new atomic battery. He selects a battery from the bottom of a pile at a car parts store, and insists on buying it even though the salesman tries to dissuade him from doing so. Later, Space Cabby is hit by another car, whose license plate he cannot see. When he stops for repairs, a tow truck offers to tow him to their repair shop , but he refuses. As the tow truck operator leaves, Space Cabby overhears him say that his boss will be very upset as his failure. Later, while driving on a throughway, a car pulls him over to tell him he won a prize for being the millionth vehicle on that road. Space Cabby refuses to go to claim his prize, since he's carrying a doctor on his way to an operation, and he overhears the person saying that they'd find a different way to get him. That night, Space Cabby, in his portable tent, is unable to sleep due to thoughts of the people trying to get him. He looks outside and sees someone playing around under the hood of his cab, but fails to capture him for questioning. The next morning, on Saturn, someone posing as a vehicle inspector stops Space Cabby. He knows he's a phony, but lets him take what he wants in order to eventually capture him. The phony inspector takes his new battery and runs off. Space Cabby waits for the police to notice that he's parked by a fireplug, and then points them to the thief's footprints. When they capture the thief, they discover that he was part of a gang run by the battery salesman, who had etched a map of where his gang's loot is inside the battery. Space Cabby then receives a reward from the police, from which he intends to buy a new battery.
