Synopsis: Space Cabby, in great need of a fare, is about to pick one up, when suddenly, a delicious small tempts him to abandon his cab to follow it. He tracks the aroma to a nearby diner, where he's told that it's a new food called space-nectar, and he orders and eats several helpings until he can afford no more. He takes some fares in order to make more money, but while en route to Mars, he sees a billboard advertising space-nectar and is filled with such an intense craving for it that he abandons his fare to eat until once again he runs out of money. He tries shielding his eyes from seeing more billboards, but this results in an accident. To calm his nerves, he takes in a movie, and upon hearing the space-nectar mentioned, he again gets the craving and eats himself broke. He sees his doctor, who ocan only advise him to avoid the space-nectar. Space Cabby spends the next day wearing a space-suit designed to shield him from the sight, sound or smell of space-nectar, but when offered the chance to sample a food item, he feels the presence of the space-nectar and is once again overcome. He notices some men staring at him, and they continue to watch as he tastes the space-nectar in a drink and drinks gallons of it. Those men later hail his cab and force him, at gunpoint, to drive them to the asteroids. When he asks which asteroid, they tell him they don't know, but they know that the asteroid on which their confederate buried their loot has a space-nectar plant, and sure enough, some sixth sense guides Space Cabby to it. They take their loot and strand Space Cabby on the asteroid, but are soon caught, as Space Cabby had pressed a button to radio the Interplanetarey police before he was forced out of the cab, and made the radio stick in the "on" position. Space Cabby receives a hefty reward for the capture of the crooks, and is pleased to discover that his insatiable craving is gone...enabling him to keep his money and enjoy other foods again.
