In May 1999, a group of 15 Singaporean students, accompanied by their professor, set foot on America with the objective of learning more about American Society and Businesses.

The program focused on the following themes:
  • Business Practices in the U.S.
  • Silicon Valley and High-Tech Businesses
  • Entrepreneurialism and Start-up Companies
  • Socially Responsible Business
  • Creative Marketing Strategies, Innovative Management Styles
  • International Business
  • Women in Business
  • Student Life in American Universities
  • Contemporary American Society: race relations, gender roles, family, sexuality, etc.
We would like to express our thanks to Mr. Brian Murphy, our Program Director, for all the hard work and energy he's put in to make the program such a memorable one. Here's to you Brian!
