1963 THUNDERBIRD SPORTS ROADSTER
Complete Rotisserie Restoration
in progress now

April 20,
Finally getting something done again.
I got the top sides of the hood, trunk, doors, trays, and tonneau
primed as well as the top and bottom of the body shell. I used up
some primer I had, that's why the two tone look.
Now I have to flip the parts and prime the undersides. After
I get the flip sides primed, I'll also put the color on and mask
them off real well before I flip them back top side up for the final
check coat and any necessary touch up. I'll be painting the bottom
of the car and the firewall black and masking them before putting
the color on the cars interior and inner fenders. Then those areas
will be masked and the color and clear will go on the outside of all
the pieces. I got the springs painted along with a few other
underside parts that are silver so I'll be able to put the suspension
back in pretty soon too and get the car rolling so I can move it
out of the shop and make room for all the other small parts that
need paint. Things should start moving along pretty good again.
