Astronomy Club's Annual Production

Zenith (1998)

Zenith 1998 has been a great night for all those present. They include students from Victoria JC, Temasek JC, and friends from other institutions.

This year, we had turned the lecture theatre into a virtual cinemax with the presence of 4 power speakers and a sub-woofer, unleashing the effects of the multimedia presentations, blockbuster movies, and the hottest game of the year, Starcraft.

The night sky opened up to our curious eyes soon after midnight as we caught Virgo, Bootes, Scorpius, Sagittarius, Crux, Centaurus, Lyra, Aquila, Cygnus, and many more constellations, not forgetting the line up of the awesome planetary consisting show of Jupiter, Saturn, and Venus. Coincidentally, we caught a few bright meteors and 3 satellites simlutaneously!

Once again I would like to thank all those who made this production a successful one.
