A nice country park bordering a lake
 | Basic Conditions:
 | Trailer parking on a U-shaped pull off
area accessed from a two lane country road. They say that there is room for about 5
two-horse trailers. Four would fit better.

The
crescent shaped parking area off of Martz Road makes for easy in and out. |
 | Features approximately 3.5 miles of
hardpacked dirt trails through a variety of flat to gently rolling terrain passing through
pine forest and hardwood forest areas. Much of the trail borders a lake. There
are two distinct and well marked trail areas.
 | A good park for observing wildlife,
especially birds. There is ample evidence of beavers in the area as well.

Looking out from
the trailers, enter the southern part of the trail by crossing Martz Road and heading
toward the sign and gate to your right. |
 | Potential Hazards:
 | Hikers unfamiliar with horses.
 | Bicycle riders
The northern part
of the trails is accessed directly from the trailer parking area. |
Good footing and
shady trails make this a nice summer destination. |

 | Rules & Restrictions:
 | Stay on marked trail system; do not ride
on cropland or tree plantations.
 | Cross streams only at designated areas.
