I got the name "Adamsville" from my last name. Very clever!! The plan for Adamsville I came up for myself. The board for it is a 11x4 board that I had to add 3 more feet on so that I could have some room. It's the first town that crosses into New Mexico on the line. Adamsville houses another short passing siding, an industrial lead that goes into a factory for various boxcar loads that the town recieves. Also... in the future I will be adding in an interchange on the eastern side of town with the BNSF, so that the coal traffic from Wyoming to Texas can continue on. Also it's a great place for rail action with the CONM, UP, and BNSF! Adamsville is very nice place to visit!! It has many railfanning opportunities, also if you drive southwest out of town, you'll catch up with ATSF's Raton Pass. Hope to see you trackside there!!! |
