Inspection
Regulations
- Purebred: Horse is registered as a Trakehner in the ER or has been bred with both Sire and Dam of Trakehner breeding
- Partbred: Horse is registered as a cross in the ER with Sire or Dam of Thoroughbred breeding
- Only horses that follow heighth, color and naming requirements are allowed to be inspected
- One inspected, horses must receive a desirable score to be registered
Process
- Part I: Heighth, coloring and soundness evaluation
- Part II: Walk and trot on a hard surface
- Part III: Walk and trot on a triangle in an arena
- Part IV: Free jump three obstacles
- Part V: Walk, trot, and canter at liberty in an arena
- Part VI: Under Saddle (4+ only)
- Part VII: Walk for final evaluation in a group

- Part I: Athletic Ability (out of 20)
- Part II: Conformation (out of 20)
- Part III: Willing Attitude (out of 20)
- Part IV: Performance Testing (out of 40)
