Intimidation

-The front cover of my first sketchbook, made at the very beginning of my Art II class.

-Sketch Collection of arms, legs, and 'muscles'

-Sketch Collection of various hand positions.  I like hands.

-Sketch Collection of various mouth postures.  The last one isn't a kiss, tho - its the Filipino mouth-point.

-A Sketch Collection of wings; Butterfly, Bat, Bones, Dragon

-First attempt at exaggerating muscles.  Yes, when it comes to my 1998 self, this is an exaggeration.

-Second attempt, with a pose.  Boxing = fun

-Third attempt, which actually looks like an evil me, and entitled 'Modesty'.

-Ouch.

-A neat side-view

-Not too shabby.  I have one more, but haven't put it up yet, unfortunately.

-We used to find turtles many times in our ditch by our first house.  This is one that a friend brought over.

-A last-minute admission to QUEST for the art competition.

-My cousin's rabbit that poops a lot

-My only real painting is a still life done in my Art II class.  Sorry for the crappy quality of the photo.

-A small thumbnail enlarging of a red silhouetted sky

-A glass Angel ornament

-An extra credit drawing in Math class.  Had to have elves, eggnog, and a barbershop.  ... My teacher was weird.

-A quote formed from a title of an Amazing Story episode made for an English class.

-During the 2000 Summer,  I was privileged to go to Palmetto Boy's State 2000, sponsored by The American Legion.  It was a great experience, although I figure I'm not meant for the political scene.  Still, it was great fun - Go Nat's!

-Just a cute little picture I made for no real reason.

Oh, To Be Away from Civilization

-The first sketch I did for Art II - informative to learn that outlines were something to hide, but I still got an A.  Its of my old room, now Eric's room - along with our cat and our Nintendo's.

-We don't come out here often, except to grill hamburgers, water the plants, or play with the dog.  But its still a nice area to rest with good shade and all.

-Drug-free, none are smokers, drink only at various parties... so what could this title mean?

-I was bored one day.

-An Art II assignment - draw your greatest fear.  Its not my 'greatest fear', but I drew the school.

-An NES, SNES, and Gameboy

-Our cat.  This was drawn the same day Silver threw up twice.

-Our cat in yet another one of her unusual sleeping poses.

-Our cat not staying still long enough for me to draw her

-When Kev left for college, I drew this picture with various nostalgiac elements, from puppets we played with, games we created together, and other such things.

-A joke against my computer-needing brother when we left on a weekend-long trip to Short Stay, a beach resort.

Gremlin VS Stickie

Skulk VS Bull

Stong VS Cell

-Originally, I was going to create a comic strip based on videogame fanboys.  Considering their hatred of others, ignorance of their competitors, 'sparkling intellect', and general nerdness, there was plenty to joke about.  But... then I got lazy.  Oh well, here's Ness, the Nintendo Fanboy.

-A drawing I did on a crappy, bumpy sketchbook.  A friend colored it.

-Another bumpy drawing, about a knighted centaur.  I'm not into mythological creatures, save Dragons, but I did it anyway.

-Originally Stong's love-life and Cassi's good friend, but the character pretty much died out of uselessness.

-A quick pic, on the bumpy paper, I did for a friend

-3 of my most physically powerful creations.  Lithop, or living rock, is a mass of 'inserted' muscle; The Pegestran knights are skilled, strong, loyal, and many; And the Orcus Talon are the end-result of centuries of instinct-dominating savagery.

-A few minor henchmen from Toon Town: The bestial Sins, the energy-based Evil Eyes, and the unbreakable Paczats.

-Just your average knight-slaying-Dragon scenario

-Done on really small paper, just a few random dragons.  I personally like the 3 headed one the best.

-Another bumpy paper pic, this time colored by me.

-Cassi is usually a very easy going and friendly person; but even her life isn't without its problems.  Whenever something unfixable occurs that she refuses to tell Tran about, she usually retreats to the bar as well.

-Some... mutated... thing.  I dunno, make up your own story.

-A not-so-calculating tyrant who searches out worlds of all types to take over, using brute force and an arsenal of abilities.  He rivals against another conqueror named Livingstone, and, honestly, both of them have yet to succeed.

-Whenever Gleam needs an extra boost of energy, he transforms into this creature.

-Another would-be creation destroyed by my own sloth.  It starts as your typical Legendary Hero scenario - peaceful alien world fraught with danger, prophecy singles out a single human being to lead them, hero saves world.  But while it starts off normally, fate plays no role in Sire Mane's quest.  As part of a Choose-Your-Own-Adventure story, the choices Sire Mane takes can lead him down to 3 conclusions.  Here, he takes the basest route, leading the Languardians to war against their troubles.

-The people that called upon Sire Mane as their hero.

-The leader of the Toon Orcus, rejected toons that want nothing more than revenge.  Orcus himself is formidable, capable of holding bout 5 creators alone.

-Orcus's warrior form

-A Sketch Collection of random characters and neat-looking things

-A colored Sketch Collection containing Cassi, Elder Sumbwah, Chibi-Cell, Majora's Mask, a Gateway Orcus fighter, and my take on Mephistopholis

-A colored Sketch Collection containing General Thagat, the Evil Calculator, the Kite leader, a pose statue, a Grogthee, Slick Snake, PFC Mackey, and Cadet Major Mouse... don't ask.

-Battle scene between the massive Gremlin and the lovable Stickie

-Battle scene between the undead Skulk and Bull DX

-Unrealistic battle scene between the omnipotent Cell and the Great Knight of Pegestra, Stong.

-The Cauldron Demon is less sacred than it is a perversion of human ideals and science.  As Ancient Pegestra was destroyed, and a Dark Age befell the land, the Demon prepared for its rise again.  In the UnderIsland, it created an army of the undead, and, with what little resources it had, created weapons to arm them.    Its chosen one - Vahn, the Cauldron Warlord, was armed with the Endo-Doom Beam, a devastating weapon (001), and the Gleam Eyes, viral-containers that could engineer its user at the basest levels (004).  It created the Endo-Doom Tank (003) and the Container (005) as weapons of mass-destruction, both greatly armed (002).

-A neat little toy known as the Mason's Tool.  It compresses air as a power source which allows it to push and lift the heaviest of objects.

-A map of Dark Age Pegestra showing landmarks

-A map of Dark Age Pegestra showing territorial boundaries

-A map of Dark Age Pegestra showing major cities and outposts

-A few random sites around Dark Age Pegestra

-The Nation of Sumbwah, led by an Elder and a Grand Coucil - a completely practical people, well-organized, intellegent, and, once the wars end, very exploratory and curious in nature.  Home of Tran, Aya, Cassi, Fosev, and Kinkp.

-Warlock Jack is the only survivor of Ancient Pegestra, save that of the Demon itself.  Kept alive by a Gleam Eye, he has documented the lore, history and culture of the past, while turning his back on the present.

-The Great Knight of Pegestra.  Son of Gramstor, Hero of Unity that brought an end to the century-long wars between Sumbwah and Darton, and one who led the Pegestrans in the Cauldron War, nearly destroying the Cauldron itself.  Also a complete loner who reviles his own popularity, he hides out in Hido's abandoned castle.

-Stong's greatest advesary was the Cauldron Warlord, Vahn - once the Great Knight of Pegestra himself, Vahn was betrayed by those he protected, and leads the Demon's armies, also keeping the Era of War from ending until the Cauldron is ready to return.

-A colored picture of what used to be Stong's greatest friend, Hido Rackiil.  Mutilated and reformed by Vahn as some base personal hobby against Stong, Hido is now the Cauldron General, leader of the zombie forces.

-The Grip is a huge clay-like sea monster that protects Warlock Jack's isolated tower/library.

-The ex-leader of the Pirates, the barbaric Carlos R. Ux was the only one with enough callous disregard of law to lead a group of malcontent but intelligent Pegetrans away from the Sacred Word and raise them to power.

-A Sumbwahn scout who somehow survives on dumb luck and mediocre skill.  Naive, friendly, and completely outgoing - he's always right where he needs to be.  Original hero in the batch-file game.

-Both a partner and a rival to Tran, Cassi is a well-trained scout who tries her best to aid the Grand Council, but due to Aya's preference of Tran and Tran's own luck, is usually overlooked.  Tran and her however challenge each other and are strict foils amongst themselves.

-In a seperate creation, Tran and Cassi have a bit of a different relationship and are the best of partners in creation.  However, sometimes Tran's over zealousness requires Cassi to mallet-summon to calm him down.

-A Sketch Collection of various aircraft, including ones that exist in the final Book of the Cauldron Saga, years after the Cauldron War.  Since then, Pegestra has lifted itself from the Dark Ages and have discovered the rest of the world at war, namely the Bristock Empire and the Loki Republic.

-The Loki are a deeply religious people of a great many united faiths.  Acting on symbols, the Loki air and sea army are as frightening and deadly as they appear.

-In Book 5, a united front is brought together by members of all races to bring peace to the world.  Founded by a Pegestrans, the SUEPR is situated in the flying fortress of what used to be the UnderIsland, using the Cauldron's own technology to bring peace.

Grayond Security

-I slaved over thinking of a good name for Didly Cold's henchwench.  'Stripe' came out of nowhere, sounded neat, and I fixed her attire to match her new name.  Gotta love 60s Star Trek fashion.

-A varied bunch - Droid, the naive but deadly robot; King Snake, the mutated animal with no moral qualms and political asperations; Fire, the noble knight with the cure to the Plague; and Professor Wendy, the genius who found a way to use the Plague to benefit humanity.

-The Colonel's massive robot he uses as both a base of operations, and the last defense when Droid's team discovers his plans.

-An old redux picture of Prof. Wendy

-Prof. Wendy at work

-Sub-standard droids created to defend Grayond's coast and buildings

-A large-chinned, eyeless bust of the Dark Knight himself!

-The bust of Two-Face, highlighting his 'dark' half

-The bust of Two-Face, highlighting his 'light' half

-The Joker in all his exaggerated feature glory

-Plus, he brought along a little friend...

-Ewww, this is a fuzzy picture...  Oh well.  Here's 3 works - a nameplate for my initials and statuettes of Stong and Sumbwah Castlefrom my Cauldron Saga

-Fuzzy again - I'll get better ones later!  Here's a GameCube Controller mold I made before the real thing was out - surrounded by a tiny GameCube platform along with Majora's Mask, Koopas and Pikachus

-Tiny molds of my cat, Silver!

-Bunnies!  Not the poke-able kind tho, hehe.  There's also a turtle, a buffalo, and a frog - all of which I tried copying from an Animal Encycolpedia.

-Not a bad pic here!  We've got Freiza, 2 versions of Cell, and a teeny, tiny bust of Vegeta and Mr. Satan

-Some of my faves here - A computer desk which I made as a present for my brother, a tiny GameCube controller, a few rings that I tried to wear but ended up cracking on me, a lighthouse, a failed really, really big necklace item, Bubbles, and a really large naked lady.  Don't mind the stain on her leg... I don't mean that kind of stain!

-I hate non-drying clay.  You'll see why by this pic.

-Although extremely dusty, these aren't too bad -these are my 'locale' creations.  They include my house, the Farmlands, a railroad juncture, an oasis, a huge palm tree, an UnderIsland cavern, and a mountain.

-Dusty and old.  The only thing of real note here is the large Cauldron Demon statuette seen here.

Female Poses

-Welcome to pretty much all that I've done during the Summer of '02.  I started with the theme of women in a simplified, could-be animated style; mainly working on my inking, steadying my hand, and being as creative with poses as I could, and as quickly as I could (still can't do angle shots, oh poop).  Many of them, you may notice, are based on celebrity poses I found mostly off of this site: http://www.celebrity-gallery.com/

-These were done in the span of a week.  Some of them, however, looked cool enough for me to consider using them again; some of them getting their own, what I call, collages - Armor, Sufferance, Vanity, and Kimono for instance.  Oh well - enjoy!
