June 17th 2005 Boston Trades: 2005 Amateur Pick #8 (Luke Hochevar) Seattle Trades: 2005 Amateur Pick #10, (Jeff Clement) #85, (Tyler Herron) and #98 (Ben Copeland) July 29th 2005 Boston Trades: Jonny Gomes St. Louis Trades: Dustin Hermanson Clause: If Hermanson does not save 30 games in 2006 then Boston receives St. Louis's June 2007 pick. (applied - Carlos Villanueva) Commentary 6/17/07 - Thank God for clauses. Hermanson lost his job to Jenks about a month after the trade so Hermanson didn't really even help me my championship year. Plus he didn't even merit a compensation pick so I had to keep him. Completely useless. Carlos Villanueva though may make this deal even when all is said and done though. Drew, Phil Nevin, 500k Clause #1: All previous clauses on Padilla trade on April 16th are void Clause #2: If Drew gets put on the DL for a total of 30 days or more in 2006 then Boston receives 700k (Not applied) August 13th, 2005 Boston Trades: Tadahito Iguchi Atlanta Trades: 5th round amateur 2005 (Jeff Larish) May Monthly 2006 (Dana Eveland) Commentary 7/16/07 - I did this to save money... note to self, don't do that. Larish and Eveland may turn out good but as of now they don't really compare to Iguchi. August 13th 2005 Boston Trades: Jason Frasor, Yadier Molina Arizona Trades: Danys Baez Clause: Baez must save 22 games in 2006 or Boston gets 750k (Applied) Commentary 7/16/07 - Well at least Baez was good in 2005 and got me a championship. Otherwise he's been a dud but Frasor and Molina haven't exactly set the world on fire either. So I guess I win if only because of 2005. |
