BILL AND TED'S EXCELLENT ADVENTURE
CAST
STORY "My name is Bill S. Preston, Esquire" "And I am Ted Theodore Logan" "And together we're...Wyld Stallions!" It is the tale of two complete morons (I don't think they're on drugs, I'm pretty sure they're just stupid) and their quest for knowledge. Okay, so Bill and Ted are seniors in high school and they have a big history final coming up where they have to put on a presentation covering basically all of world history. If they fail, Ted gets shipped off to military school. Bummer! If this happens, the world will never be the same. To save the two from failure, Rufus comes back from the future with a time machine to allow them to travel to different periods of history. The two go around and pick up historical figures and bring them back with them (with hilarious results). A few of the famous people the two run into are Abraham Lincoln, Napoleon (the short dead dude), Sigman Freud (the Frude Dude), Genghas Khan, Socrates ("Check the text book, he's under So-crates"), Beethoven, and Billy the Kid. I don't wanna give away a hilarious scene, but just imagine Genghas Khan in a sporting goods store...wearing a football helmet...beating on things with a baseball bat. Enjoy!
MY THOUGHTS This is one of my favorite movies of all time. I saw it on Comedy Central one time and I was in awe. If you haven't seen the movie, I highly recommend it. You'll laugh like crazy, and learn quite a bit about history as well. It also makes it all the more enjoyable when you watch The Matrix and imagine Keanu Reeves as Ted Theodore Logan talking like a crack head. It's a great flick. Definetly top 10 of all time, possibly top 5.
