MALIBU'S MOST WANTED
CAST
STORY Bradley..."I told you not to call me that, that's my slave name." Fine, B-rad Gluckman is a rich, white dude from Malibu who thinks he's ghetto and livin' on the street. He's into rap and wants to be the biggest rapper there ever was. He rolls with a crew of another white dude, a rather chubby white girl, and an Indian guy (Van Wilder's secretary). To top it off, he's kind of a moron. Anyway, our man B-rad's pops is runnin' for governor and our boy wants to help out. He's in charge of sign making. So Mr. Gluckman's at this talk with a woman's group and he's like, "Here's our new campaign slogan." B-rad busts out his sign and it says, "Bill Gluckman, Down with the Bitches and Ho's!" The campaign peeps decide that B-rad's got to go. Dude who works for Bill Gluckman hires these two actors to take B-rad into the ghetto and "scare the black out of him." That's basically where the shizzo goes down. B-rad's gotta make it in the hood, prove he's the man on the microphone, and win the girl.
MY THOUGHTS It was funny, I'll give it that. Jamie Kennedy is a hilarious guy and he came up with a great character in B-rad. His part in the movie is hilarious, but the path the movie takes just wasn't what I was hopin' for. It was really kind of stupid and pointless, but it was funny. I'm gonna buy it just to watch it every once and a while and to add it to my amazing DVD collection, but it's not a classic by any standards.
