Puri 2004
There is always a difference when you make a trip to Puri in an adventurous way rather than a pure conventional way. I am talking about a reality. A fact that many of us faces during the trip to Puri. Conventional picture of Puri includes Swargadwar , the blur sky , muddy water of sea & the very real fact of overcrowding. Yes, this is the picture we generally encounter when we tour Puri. But, things are not really so. Puri in reality a beauty which can blow off any sea shore of India. Look at the pictures & you will automatically get the results. I think if you want some special, then try to tour Puri during the months of Aug. & Sept. Do not stay in the crowded Swargadwar if you want some isolation & empty sea beach to spend your time with your beloved one. Try to stay in the OTDC - Pantha Nivas [ 2 km from Swargadwar ] area. Always try to avoid the pick season i.e. from Oct. to Feb.
Had you been to Puri before ? If yes , then had you been to sea mouth [ i.e. the river channeling into sea ] ? If not, then visit it again 'cause its a fantastic place to enjoy tremendous sun sets. You will get sea mouth on the way to KONARK. Catch the Marine road & drive about 25km to the east till the Daya river banks appears. You can also catch another sea mouth & the view of lighthouse just driving down east from Sargadwar [ appx. 5 km ]. |
