The First Day My friend Bryan and I flew down to Los Angeles to pick up my new truck. We were greeted at the airport by Karen of Toyota Carson. Karen was nice enough to give us a ride to the dealership from the airport and was outstanding to work with throughout the entire purchasing process!As it turned out, purchasing the vehicle would be easiest part of this trip. We rented a U-Haul Truck and Auto Transport and towed the truck to San Francisco. After all was said and done it would have been cheaper to have paid a towing company to do it. Overall it took 36 hours from start to finish but at least we kept 450 miles off the truck. Then, of course, two weeks later (and after telling me they could not get one) my local dealer called to say that they had just recieved a 4Runner just the way I wanted it. |
