Trekking in  SOLU KHUMBU
Paris-Katmandou
The trip to Katmandu is a difficult and very long one. We had to stop in Franckfort and Dehli where we had to wait eleven hours long, during the night. At Katmandu, our guide Jangbu welcomes us with a large smile and garlands of flowers. We arrived at last at the hotel, I was very happy to see that our luggage was also there.
In Katmandu, streets are overcrowded and very noisy. It’s not easy to find my way in his dust cloud between cars, rickshaws, pedestrians, children and caws. Discovering Katmandu is always a chock for occidental people, but you get use to it very quicly.

Katmandou-Paphlu
The day after we take a flight to Paphlu, a quiet village in the Himalayan mountains. The flight takes more time than expected as the pilot of the private aircraft must fly visually across the dense white clouds. I was very impressed by the chaotic landing on a grass field. All the village is gathered to see the show and help to discharge the plain. After a hot tea with milk, we start walking on the way to Ringmo village.
