This is going to be yet another weather observation. Last night, and this morning here in little ole Altoona, we had a "blizzard". It was snowing like mad, the wind was howling, and it was bitter cold. We have seen this many times before, it's not a new thing for this to happen here. However, everyone has to make the biggest deal out of the situation.

The newscasters put much drama in their voices and tell you how bad it is outside. Sometimes they add to the saga by sending an idiot to stand outside and tell you how bad it is. "Yeah, the wind is blowing real hard, and we're having white out conditions." No, really! Like I couldn't have gotten the same thing from looking out the window. Maybe the get amusement to see what someone looks like standing out in the "blizzard".

Then we have the radio people. The station we listen to at work in the morning has the absolute worst radio personalities in the world. These 2 guys are so idiotic. The say things, and think they are the funniest people that ever lived. They end up rambling on for 20 minutes about the color of their socks, or something stupid like that. It's no wonder people worry about the weather.

They were on there this morning ranting and raving about how bad it was, and no one should leave their houses. There were several car accidents, but they had to make it sound like everyone died that was involved, or was fatally injured. I can't believe that people actually listen to then and get upset about it. The weather is something that you can't control, and when something like this happens, you just have to deal with it the best that you can. Worrying about it won't make it any better, or make it go away.
