06.18.02 -- a "me" page? forewarned is forearmed here. take heed: this *may* get weird. ;p

Real Name: Marilyn
AKA: M, mari, sophie (dunno how that came about...)

AIM: Dragon ChyId (for now ;p)

Yahoo!: trickster_brat

MSN Messenger: trickster_brat

E-mail: trickster_brat@hotmail.com

Age: 20 - old enough for some things and a long-shot for others. ;p

Grade: a poor college student--a tad redundant.

Occupation: CSR--you know, my job at a video store would rock if it weren't for the blasted customers! ;p

Zodiac: Leo--a fire sign, meaning i'm assertive, enthusiastic, energetic and creative; full of life, warmth and yet more enthusiasm. =D

Chinese Zodiac: the piggie, which means i'm a good companion, an intellectual, sincere, tolerant, and honest but by expecting the same from others i'm definitely naive--my downfall i'm thinkin'. ::sighs::

Hobbies: doodling, once upon a time reading & writing, although a major thing now is going to the movies. other than that, i'm working every chance i get. ick. gotta save to pay the sadists in college. (-__-);;

Prized Possession: uh, it's between my books and my puter! boy, do two worlds ever collide here. =p

Fav Movie: *gasp* Moulin Rouge! teehee. ;p also: Kate and Leopold (the lovable hugh jackman, my honey)!, Labyrinth (bowie and the pants, 'nuff said), Ever After (dougray scott ::another dreamy sigh::), and anything Don Bluth! Clerks and just that whole series of Kevin Smith movies. oh, and not to leave out one of the most FUN movies of all time: Pulp Fiction! oh and if you haven't seen Kill Bill vol. 1 then i pity you.

Worst movie so far: that would be Glitter above ALL! at close second would be Alex & Emma, then comes Hard Cash, i mean, could the plot have been anymore shoddy than it already was? what was Val Kilmer thinking, i couldn't even fathom a guess. Christian Slater? well, a man's gotta eat.

Fav Anime: in no special order 'cause they're all equally shway: Fushigi Yuugi, Escaflowne (both the show and the movie =D), Armitage III Polymatrix, Now and Then, Here and There, Vampire Hunter D: Bloodlust, Iria: Zeirem the Animation, Cardcaptor Sakura, Gunsmith Cats, Macross Plus, and Sailor Moon 'cause it's an old fav from way back.

Fav Manga: alrighty, for now, Mars, Chobits, Kare Kano, and Wish. some just finished, so i'm looking forward to dive into some others.

Fav Comics: i'm revved into comic mode here--i mean c'mon, i went to Megacon! ;p alrighty, anything Nightwing, Gargoyles (i mean, i *do* have all 11 books ever made), Batgirl, Robin, Batman, Batman: Gotham Knights, Batman/Superman Miniseries, Emma Frost, Mysitique, 1602, and now completely into Ultimate Spiderman, Teen Titans, The Outsiders, New Mutants, the occasional Buffy the Vampire Slayer TPB... yeah, my local comic store gets most of my money when i'm not completely on the ropes in the cash dept. (^^);;;

(my comic blog)

Fav 'Toon(s) in general: Gargoyles! oh and then there's X-men: Evolution (even though the original was much cooler ;p), Spiderman(newer one, but not that futuristic "ultimate spiderman" ::shudders::), and Batman: The Animated Series (i like "Batman Beyond" but the original was just so much better!)--oh and any 80s 'toon and i'm there! ::under her breath:: "...glamour and glitter, fashion and fame, jem! jem is outrageous, truly truly truly outrageous...!" =p

Fav TV Show(s): Buffy the Vampire Slayer! closely followed by Angel and Gilmore Girls! then comes La Femme Nikita =)

Current Fav Book(s): gotta read "Timeline" by Micheal Crichton, but any Lynn Kurland right now will do. although, i'm trying to catch up on my Catherine Coulter and Nora Roberts. finally! i get to read for fun again. (^__^)

Fav Writers: too long a list, but: Lynn Kurland, Teresa Medieros, Catherine Coulter, Nora Roberts, Julia Quinn, William Shakespeare, Edith Warton, Henry James, Oscar Wilde, Jane Austen...
