mood: content + relaxed. (^__^)
music: "Overture," "Once I Was Loved," "I Can't Forget the Melody," - The Slipper and the Rose (sdtrk)
blurb:
holy wow am i ever so relaxed. kinda like gooey-mellow-yellow relaxed, ya'know? all thanks to "Under the Tuscan Sun," which is such an awesome movie. it'll be in my dvd collection soon enough. (^__^)
it was really busy tonight at work (saturday night + rain = many customers), and i even got out at midnight, an hour after i was supposed to. strangly enough, i couldn't be happier. i got home, made dinner (broiled steak, roasted potatoes & toasty garlic bread), and sat down to watch UtTS. after downing that huge plate of dinner and watching the movie--i can honestly say that i haven't felt this relaxed in a long time. maybe it's because it's almost 4 am as i write this, Eastern Standard, but that was really a damn good movie.
just can't say enough about it. Diane Lane was fresh-faced and endearing, all the co-stars wonderful supporting actors. definitely like "My Big Fat Greek Wedding" with all the cozy feelings, except without all the stereotypes and pretences. just awesome. i just feel cleansed somehow. sorta like after having a good cry, only without those pesky tears.
so to follow up the great vibes i had to pop in "The Slipper and the Rose" soundtrack. fluffy and pink, i know, but i'm a hopeless romantic at heart. XD
i decided to scan in what i've been up to in my Greek and Roman class. aside from being immersed in mythology and other interesting tidbits, i love the fact that my pen flows freely across my notes again...
