mood: somewhat inspired *(^^)*
music: Our Lady Peace - "Life"
blurb: school's over and it took me *this* long to get around to my update. crazy-ness. (^^)''' well anyways, lemme get my mind off that b/c i sure as heck don't want to look at my grades *just* yet. ::sweatdrop::
::whispers:: "happy thoughts, happy thoughts..." speaking of which, i went to an improv place in Downtown Orlando, very cool. they have some neat classes there and the peeps who take them also perform there, so on wednesdays (now their ladies' night), the "labrats" show off. great laughs. (^-^)d
oh, and before that i had an awesome book exchange with my fellow book-fiend. this one i didn't convert, she chose her path. lucky me! yay! ::g:: we also ate in this N.Y.P.D. pizza place, very themed, very cool. (^^) now i have bunches of books for the holidays to read (Jude Devearaux, Julia Quinn, Johanna Lindsey, etc.) la-dee-da... ::smiles in a daze::
back from cloud 9 now... you know, i don't think i would survive if i went to new york to live. 'cause i talk to "everyone," and that's never a good thing when "everyone" comes up to you on a dark street late at night asking for money or whatever. this is an assumption based on my reaction to two strange men that came up to me on my little downtown excursion. the first one gave me a sob story about his car breaking down and needing bus fare, so i forked over a dollar, and hurried on my way to the pizza place across the street with my friend. the second one made me bump my head on my car door at the end of the night as i tried to get in, get my long coat out of the way, and close the damn thing. that's all after i said, "no thanks, that's okay," to the guy in reply to whatever he said. my mom suggests i need to be more paranoid. (^^)'''
i sorta am though, 'cause i knew a group of guys were dealing fake perfume in a parking lot and i flat-out refused them. you get that email?
anyways, went x-mas shopping today with money i don't have yet (paychecks are later today, since i think it's after midnight...). checks are grande, but tele-check machines suck. *(^^)* i won't disclose any extra gift info here except that i got the main peeps on my list their prezzies. they'll be others that will have to appreciate warm x-mas wishes instead. (^^)'''
oh! almost forgot to say that i entered this month's MGC (Monthly Gargoyles Contest) for the first time! yay! i just love the idea that i entered, and it's the "Moulin Rouge" theme that got me motivated. teehee. (^^)
time for me to goto bed. it's 2:28 am and i intend to get up bright and early for Star Trek: Nemesis
