music: Colin Firth & Rupert Everett - "Lady, Come Down"
blurb: i got out of work early today (thank God!), and really wanted some inspiration for a good period piece i'm working on. so, i put on the remake of "The Importance of Being Earnest" with Colin Firth, Rupert Everett, Reese Witherspoon, Frances O'Connor, and Judi Dench. (^.-)*
note: don't get me wrong, the first one from 1952 rocked, but this one has Rupert Everett in it. ;p
as it turns out, instead of an imspiration for a story i got an inspiration for a drawing. yay! it was definitely Frances O'Connor's posture in a certain scene as her Victorian character "Gwendolyn." it was definitely the shoulders, and the way her head's tilted just *so*. perfect for a piccy! i ended up calling the piccy "Dear, Sweet Cecily" because i *loved* how the words sounded coming from Rupert Everett, even though "Cecily" is another character entirely. (^-^)''' i also made up my Cecily's little brother, Cardeaux. i don't usually draw guy-gargs 'cause they're just plain hard for me, but never let it be said i don't try once in a while. (^-^) anyways, i thought it was cool that i've been drawing a pic almost everyday recently. i'll keep trying. (^-^)d
oh and, i *did* see "LOTR: The Two Towers" and all i'm saying is that it's obvious that movie is the middle of a bigger story. it has a nice wrap-up for the ending, more action (since the first one was laying the groundwork, therefore, less action), and leads nicely into the third movie, "LOTR: The Return of the King." got to sleep at about dawn this past friday b/c of my journey to middle earth, but it was well-worth it. (^^)
