mood: anxious. (^^);;
music: Aquabats - "Lovers of Loving Love", then "Capt. Hampton and the Midget Pirates," quirky and fun. i just love 'em. (^-^)
blurb: well, what's today? wednesday night? my assigned homework night, and what am i doing? renovating the doodles section. it's legit, i swear! i really, really needed to reorganize just before doing my calculus homework! (ˇ_ˇ)
but anyways, i drew a few extras these past few days that i'm adding onto the galleries. i'm basically done with this side of the site. all i need to do is re-write the html for the mirror. i'm dreading that, btw. frames are not my friends.
life-wise, nothing really major to report. i COULD tell you, in detail, how busy i've been with work and school, but i'll try my best not to. (^^) i haven't gotten around to actually reading any books; i still have my friend's group of books from our last trade. i feel so bad! ::sobs::
ahem. altho, this lack of free-time doesn't keep me from drawing! yay! only reason why is b/c drawing's quick and requires no more than maybe a few minutes to sketch something. of course, then factor in the coloring--um, bad example, bad.
moving on. lemme add to my wonderful web-geek resumé Megacon! woohoo! basically picture a whole crapload of stands, dealers' tables, rooms, comics, anime merchandise, you name it and it'll be there! including the hot bad guy from "Witchblade"! btw, why that was canceled, us mere mortals will never, truly know. the weekend of Feb. 28th folks, i plan to spend a fortune even tho i'm broke. hehehe... (^^);; i'll make a list tho! that'll keep down the spendage. ;p
speaking of spendage, even tho i don't have time to read anything, that dosen't mean i can't order off half.com or ebay. hehe. "Time and Again" by Jack Finney now sits proudly on my shelf. original over-sized 70s copy. yay! i'll get to it eventually. afterall, i DO own "Somewhere in Time." *(^^)* i also got a few books on Victorian and Edwardian clothing. one's a photographic survey with pics dating from the mid-19th-century, and the other a huge book of fashion plates. um, yeah. ::whistles innocently:: (¬_¬);;
movie-wise. let's see: go rent "One Hour Photo," and Heath Ledger was great in "Four Feathers," very dramatic. that came out too on video/dvd. next week is "Tuck Everlasting" w/ Alexis Biedel based off a book set in the 19th century. hey, maybe it'll be as great as "Pollyanna" was. (^^);; oh and i finally saw "Gangs of New York" a while back, and, more recently, "Chicago." it's like "Moulin Rouge" in the breakout musical way, but completely different plot-wise. so if you liked MR then go see, and if you didn't, still go see! i know peeps who hated MR and loved "Chicago."
alrighty, enough of my blabber. time to move in the direction of my calculus book. i'll get there... eventually. (e_e);;
