blurb: i was so unbelievably happy to be outta work early today. only four hours. it feels like i've somehow gotten a break, while i really haven't. i guess that's what makes it so satisfying. sorta like being let out of school early way back when. it could only have been 5 mins and it made all the difference in the world. =)
oh and my whole Emmy thing--premature. no shame there. i just want them to air so i can glare at the TV b/c they won't give Buffy and its crew a statuette. they never do. it's an unwritten rule somewhere...
i've started yet another book--6th in Catherine Coulter's FBI series titled Hemlock Bay. it's like coming back to old friends, looking in 'n visiting with 'em. i love the fact that any book can stand alone, but each one is even more satisfying when you've gotten to know the characters since the very first book The Cove. of course, i sorta started with the second one ::blushes:: (The Maze) in the series and then went back. but hey, that didn't matter too much since that little goof was near the beginning of the series. =D
btw, The Villa was awesome! all that intrigue, corporate espionage... loved everything, the ending was a little abrupt though(if you could believe that of a 486 pg book). i dunno, but it just felt that way; can't really explain... but it was great and should be read by all! =D
