blurb: no creative sparks have shone today, but hey, what else is new? ;p i took a trip down to Pembrook Pines (miami remember?)... well, nice place. obviously the territory of the well-to-do. i still say i wouldn't have a big house like that 'cause then a maid would be essential, and i just wouldn't want someone riffling through my drawers when i'm not looking--not that i have anything to hide... ;} if you detect underlying envy... it's your imagination. =)
anyways, reading a bad book doesn't help matters much in the writing department. i dug into a short little ditty about 200+ pages long by Catherine Coulter. ::sighs:: it was disappointing. i mean, the whole premise was promising (american jock inherits castle & title so he heads for england), but he wasn't convincing at all! he sounded pretty american when he was actually in america but when he got to england he sounded more english than the brits! of course, there were a few american slang words thrown in for flavor, but he just sounded too proper for a far removed american who wanted no part of his english roots. again, disappointing. thank goodness it was the third part of a mini-triology. the first two were awesome (aftershocks & afterglow) but this one was just as far removed as its predecessors.
'nuff ranting. i'm off to wind down and goto bed. who knows, maybe i'll keep this whole "daily updating" thing up. ;p ::wanders off calling out, "plot bunnies, o O H plot bunnies...!"::
