mood: blah

music: misc. ;p

blurb: man, today's been just one of those "blah" days--you can tell by today's piccy (at least it's aesthetically pleasing... sorta..). i didn't like going to work and was crazy to get out at 5. basically, i hated the world at just about after noon b/c it's full of people. no one in particular set me off, i was just not enjoying customers and their petty little indifferences, oh, and *especially* their sheep-like attitudes to rent movies while it's raining. me, personally, i would opt to stay at home and dry, but that's just me.

forget stupid people. the don't deserve to have a whole post dedicated to 'em. ;p let's concetrate on this new little novel i've gotten into, which is a complete leap-of-faith from my normal time-travel/historical romaces. Nora Roberts' "Villa" is what i'm talking about. i take to contemporaries once in a while, but it's really not my thing. this one's turning out decent. i'm a sucker for conniving old folk w/ good intentions, and the fact that they're the head of a huge, heir-less winery coorporation only adds to the appeal. everyone's at each other's throats for a good position in the company, but each has their own little stippulation to get through before they get their reward. i'm waitin' to see when the brawl for power-n-riches will be. ;p

my writing's going nowheres. seriously, i dunno if i'm gonna get back to that little fanfic idea. man, i even have a little logo worked out and everything! i hope i get back to it... eventually b/c i really like that logo! ;p
