The world is moving faster now;
We're on a changing course.
But you have helped me deal with life;
You've been a stable force.

When I have had to follow;
New directions, you were there.
When the world was hard on me;
You always seemed to care.

When nothing held together;
Made the slightest bit of sense.
You have always helped restore;
My inner confidence.

Everyone needs someone;
Who's reliable and true.
Through the moments I've endured;
I'm grateful there was you.

My Unseen Friend

You are more to me than simply words on a screen
You have come into my life, in my heart, and in my mind
You have filled me with inspiration and true kindness
I could never find a friend in all my searching of the world who
could fill all the spaces in my life that you have filled
A true friend does not have to be a touch away,
a true friend is a connection of feelings
Together we have formed a bond that no one could break apart.
Thank You my friend for being there and taking time to care
If we never meet in the flesh you will still always be a big part of my life
and I feel you are by my side every day and always an E-Mail away.

A Little Prayer

Dear Lord........

Every single evening
As I'm lying here in bed.
This tiny little prayer
Keeps running through my head.

God bless my son and daughter,
And all my family.
Keep them warm and safe from harm
For they're so close to me.

And God, there is one more thing
I wish that you could do.
Hope you don't mind me asking,
Bless my computer too.

Now I know that it's not normal
To bless a mother board,
But listen just a second
While I explain to you 'My Lord'.

You see, that little metal box
Holds more than odds & ends
Inside those small compartments
Rest so many of my FRIENDS.

I know so much about them
By the kindness that they give.
And this little scrap of metal
Takes me in to where they live.

By faith is how I know them
Much the same as you.
We share in what life brings us
And from that our friendship grew.

Please, take an extra minute
From your duties up above
To bless those in my address book
That's filled with so much love!

Wherever else this prayer may reach
To each and every friend,
Bless each email received
And the person who hits send.
