I think it turned out really cute, of course they ARE my kids. =) At the playground, the boys and the dog had a ball. Though I don't think Josh was too impressed with the slide! I tried to make him go down by himself, I was holding onto him though, and he cried =( He'd go down with Warren, but he fussed a bit at first. Maybe it's because it was his first time on a slide. Poor baby. We'll just have to take him back more often and put him on the slides. Well Jason told Warren they might stop by Friday or Saturday on their way home from Jen's dad's house in Idaho. No go. I told Warren they probably just wanted to get back home. I know how I feel after being away from home for a bit, I don't want to make pit stops, I just want to make the long trek home to my own stuff. We'll catch them next time, or when we go down to Oregon. Speaking of Oregon, I guess we won't know if we're going there next month or not until after Warren's cataract surgery and after care. I'm hoping to get the kids up there at least once before Christmas. We're going to spend Thanksgiving here this year. Maybe have Martin up. It just gets to be too much coming down Novemeber and December. Not that we don't love to spend the holidays with our family, but the weather is too unpredictable in those months and one trip there and back is a lot on us during those stressful weather days. And I just don't want to miss Christmas with my family. So, that's why I'm hoping we can get down there in August. Ok that's it for now. I have a lot to do today. Austin is playing his new Gameboy Advance (with his beloved Dukes of Hazzard game) hahaha he LOVES that show and when he saw the game at Jerk City (Circuit City) he just had to have it. (The Gameboy and game were an extra birthday gift he got on his birthday when we were at that store getting my new camera) I know I know, more video games, but hey, he loves them! =) I want to leave you with this picture... |
