JULY 22 2001

I know I've been slacking on the journals, things will be less busy once Warren goes back to work(tomorrow).
I dont know why, but it seems when he's home, I just dont feel like being online much. He goes back tomorrow for work though, his first day back since last Monday. It should be interesting. He still doesn't see 100% since his surgery, and his drops make it worse, but we'll see how he does. Keep those fingers crossed!
He goes back to the eye doctor (Dr E if I can help it) on Wednesday.
We took Rocket into the vet again, for more testing. An ultrasound this time. Trying to figure out what is wrong with him. But they didn't find anything out of the ordinary. The vet, who is not his regular vet, told me our next step is a bone marrow sample test. I'm not so sure I want to go to that level. We've already spent a lot on testing, and visits. I mean how much is too much? The new vet did say however, that we could do the test and find it is cancer or we can find it doesn't tell us anything. If it's cancer there is nothing we can do for Rocket, but if it's some sort of virus thing (which he doubts) there's always treatment. Dr Codr(his regular vet) will call me tomorrow and I'll talk in length with him about this. See what he thinks. He's a great vet, very understanding of the money issue.
We took Austin to Red Robin for his birthday, he told me he wanted to go there, months ago, for his birthday, because they sing to him. Well we get there and eat and we tell the waiter that it's his birthday. Warren and I ordered a Mountain High mudd pie (YUM!) and he brings that and a sundae to Austin. No singing, no commotion. So I asked the waiter "aren't you going to sing to him!?"  He says "No we're really busy and we can't get everyone over here to sing" I was not amused. Either was Austin. He didn't complain, but I KNOW he was very disappointed. And I think the waiter saw it in his face too, he brought Austin over 6 balloons to "make up" for not singing. The waiter told us to come back another day when they're not busy and they'll sing to him, if we tell them it's his birthday. It's not the same, it's not his birthday anymore. I was not impressed with Red Robin that day!
I Got a new digital camera. I LOVE it!!
Actually it's my NEW new camera. I bought a digital camera a couple weeks back, but it was too complicated and ran thru batteries every 10 minutes.. literally! So we took it back and got a Sony Mavica. It's SOOOO cool.  We took the kids to the playground and I took pics with it, along with a couple around the house. I made a
