July 19 2001

Okay so it's been awhile since I've last written. I've been so busy these past  weeks that I haven't had a chance. I'll catch you up today, on the past couple of weeks. Might not be in order of happenings though.

Last week July 11th, Brian arrived. Warren's "little" brother. It was so great to have him here. He's a great guy. I know Austin drove him batty, but he never complained. Austin was constantly asking uncle Brian to do this or that. He never lost his cool with Austin. The other 2 also adored uncle Brian. Warren had to work all week, so we didn't get to do much with by taking him places. Brian says he didn't mind though, he said he enjoyed every minute here, just being here. We enjoyed it too, and were heartbroken the day he left. We're hoping he'll come back again, this time, in less than 4 yrs from now! =)
Friday the 13th everyone showed up for Austin's party, which we held on Saturday. Papa and Gramma Jones, Aunt Kim, cousin Nicole, Grandmama, Aunt Carla, Uncle Gary, Aunt Janice. Uncle Jason, Aunt Jennifer and cousins Seth, Brandon and Zachary. It was a great success. Austin had a ball, got loaded with monster trucks. He's a happy camper!  Everyone left on Sunday, but not before some excitement. Sorry Carla and Gary had to miss out!  Ryan barfed all over, he was feeling really yucky that morning and all of a sudden he just let go with it all. Poor fella. After that, Joshua gave Papa and Gramma Jones a thrill. He WALKED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
3 steps TO Papa and then 3 steps back to Gramma. What a thrill for all of us, but especially Gramma and Papa. Of course, since that day (Sunday, July 15 2001) Joshua hasn’t taken any steps! Haha I get he was just showing off. But he has no interest. Which is fine by me. He’s our last baby, and I am in no hurry for him to grow up and walk. He can take his time. While mom and dad were here they hung up our blinds in the living room Thanks Mom and Dad! =)
On Monday, July 16th, Warren had an eye appointment. He was just going to have his eye with the cataract looked at, and get a referral to OHSU Also know as Casey Eye Clinic. He (luckily) had one of his headaches that day, so when he got there they took his eye pressure. Shockingly it was 73. High pressure in your eye is 20 and up, his was off the charts. They gave him 3 more different drops to take, on top of his normal drops he’s taking for the Iritis. And they gave him a pill to take which made him sick to his stomach. Brian, Warren, the kids and I all went out for dinner that night, Warren didn’t complain “much” about how he was feeling. We knew his eye was hurting him a lot though. We got home that night, and he layed down. He was really hurting. He didn’t sleep that whole night. He kept me awake the whole night along with him. I felt so bad for him, not being able to help him. The next day (Tuesday) we had to take Brian to the airport by 8:30am and right after he boarded the plane, we had to get Warren to Dr Snow (here on out referred to as “quack”)
