Boy Scout Troop 118 Welcomes You
and Invites You To Join Us…

Troop 118 has a long history "Delivering the Promise of Scouting" in Fairfax County Virginia and is located at Fort Belvoir, Virginia.  Troop 118 is chartered by the Belvoir Friends of Scouting a Community Organization.

Troop 118 has over 65 years of Scouting service.  Chartered since 1939 at Fort Belvoir.  Troop 118 is in Colonial District of the National Capital Area Council in the Northeast Region of the Boy Scouts of America.

Troop Meetings are on Tuesday each week from 7:00pm to 8:30pm in the Troop 118 Scout Hut in Building 629, Warren Road, on Fort Belvoir (near the Veterinary Clinic).  Troop Meetings are held year-round except on holidays and non-school days during the school year.  Visit our Calendar page for Troop activity dates.

Troop 118 is a “Boy Led” organization employing the Boy Scouting Aims and Methods in planning program activities and Troop operations.

Troop 118 has monthly activities promoting the highest Scouting ideals of the Boy Scout Oath, Law, Motto, Slogan, and the Outdoor Code.  Activities develop the whole Scout's maturity and growth by engaging in programs and projects in nature, environment, family, community, government, leadership, teamwork, self-reliance, integrity, and responsibility.

Troop 118 enjoys an active Scouting program providing each Scout and his family a fun, fulfilling and successful Boy Scouting experience from Scout through Eagle, and well into their Adult Boy Scouting experience.

Thank you for visiting Troop 118!
