Meeting/Upcoming Activities Calendar
We meet on Friday evenings during the school year. Our tentative schedule of upcoming meetings and activities is as follows:
October 2003:
3rd:
Troop meeting. Jessica is running this one. Mrs. S. will plan the Italian menu. We will plan what we will be doing this year.
17th:
MCPS closed. Go to Mrs. A's office to work on the Graphics Communications IP.
18th:
Service project. Light the Night walk for the Leukemia and Lymphoma Society. We will staff the refreshment tables and help blow up the balloons.
November 2003:
7th:
Troop meeting. Meg will be leading this one. Jessica will plan the Irish/Scottish menu. We will finish up the Graphics Communications IPA by learning about calligraphy.
16th:
Field trip. Just for fun! We will visit the Spy Museum in DC.
December 2003:
13th & 14th:
Service project. Help out at cocker rescue's "Pet Photos with Santa" fundraising event.
19th:
Troop meeting and holiday party. Mary will be leading this one. Meg will plan the Greek menu.
tba:
Service project. Babysitting while parents holiday shop.
January 2004:
16th:
Troop meeting. Gabby will be leading this one. Mary will plan the menu.
19th:
MCPS closed. MLK's Birthday Day
26th:
Skiing. postponed
31st:
Field trip. Deep Impact comet/space activity at the University of Maryland.
February 2004:
7th:
Ice Skating. just for fun
16th:
MCPS closed. President's Day
22nd:
Child Care IPA. field trip to work on several requirements of this Interest Project
27th:
Troop meeting. Kerry to facilitate, Gabby to cook.
28th:
Thinking Day. service unit-wide activity
March 2004:
2nd:
Field Trip. Skiing (rescheduled from January)
12th:
Cookie booth. come support the troop
14th:
Troop meeting. Claire's turn to lead. Sock hop planning.
26th:
Cookie booth. Those who did not staff the booth on the 12th are expected to take a turn now.
