We attended Summer Camp at Camp Lanoche. Everything was new for us, because we were in a new camp. We went with Troop 909 from the Timucua district as both troops were able to provide an adult leader. We registered a little late so we did not get into some of our badges. We did get to do a lot like rifle shooting, black powder rifle, archery, small boat sailing, motorboating, and even electronics. In all, our 5 Scouts earned 22 merit badges and a State certification at Summer Camp. Our SPL, Stephen received a Certificate of Appreciation from the camp for his help at the Archery Range. The campsite did have a screened in shelter. One night we had smores with Troop 909 and another, we had an ice cream social in the dining hall.
