Sept 2001 -- Court of Honor

We held our second Court of Honor with the Cub Scout Pack.  Pot Luck Dinner and Court of Honor in May.  Due in part to fundraising, our Troop was financially strong enough to buy fried chicken from Publix.  Publix donated a sheet cake for our Troop and McDonalds donated a fruit punch.  The Scouts received many rank advancements and Merit Badges from Summer Camp.  At summer camp, we teamed with Troop 909 from the Timucua district.  This allowed us to pool our resources for adult and youth leadership.  Win K. from Troop 909 attended our Court of Honor and gave our Scoutmasters minute.

COR James Fisher (VFW 4932) addressing the Troop.  He praised their advancement and growth in Leadership.  He also predicted that our Troop would continue grow in skill as it would finally grow in numbers.
