March 2002 -- Court of Honor

We began shooting video tape of the veterans experiences.  There were enough veterans that we held two sessions to shoot the tape.  Later, this will be edited and placed on a web site.  

We held our  Pot Luck Dinner and Court of Honor at the First United Methodist Church in Land O Lakes.  The 6 Scouts received activity patches for Scouting for Food, 6 Rank advancements and 22 Merit Badges from their efforts in the Merit Badge Academy and on their own planned activities.  


Kerry receives 4 Merit Badges and presents his Mother with the Star Mothers Pin.


Ben receives 2 Merit Badges and presents his Mother with the Star Mothers Pin.


Joey receives 9 Merit Badges and presents his Mother with the Star Mothers Pin.


Erik receives 2 Merit Badges and presents his Mother with the Star Mothers Pin.


Chris receives 3 Merit Badges and presents his Mother with the Star Mothers Pin.

Stephen (not pictured) receives 4 Merit Badges and the rank of Life.


These 5 Scouts are recognized for receiving Star.  Stephen who is not pictured received his Life.


APL Joey receives the Quality Unit ribbon...


...and then places the ribbon on the Troop Flag.


COR James Fisher and his wife.  In Februrary, they presented the Troop with a $1000 corporate donation from Verizon.   The funds were donated based on their volunteer efforts with the Troop.


The DE, Scoutmaster, Assistant Scoutmaster and COR for Troop 323.
