With combined efforts of both Troop 97 and Pack 97 we have received a generous amount of donations in food and other items for the sponsor family. All donations are appreciated. We will have our annual Wrapping and Christmas Party at the usual meeting time on 12/2/02. We all look forward to a fun time.
We have used the Operation First Class emblem as a theme to the newsletters until each one of the Scouts have completed First Class. I think this should be our primary goal in the coming months.
Each boy needs to be working on his own as well as with the troop to complete the requirements for the current level of rank he is working on. There are also a number of Merit Badges that would be perfect the boys to work on while they are working on getting to first class. There is an updated list on the Merit Badge page of the website. Please contact Mrs. Weikel for information on advancement. No Scout can begin working on a Merit Badge without first contacting the Advancement Chairman, Mrs. Weikel. She needs to put the Scout in touch with the Merit Badge Counselor before work begins on the badge.

We would like input from all the families and Scouts for the newsletters. If you have any announcements, birthdays etc please contact Mrs. Weikel. |
