Chapter 3:

Vegas and I came to a quick agreement that we wouldn't talk to each other the entire tour and would
just dance. That was all about to change when we hit the road.

~~A Week Later~~

We were all getting set to head out, Carrie, Alexia, Fatima and I arrived together with our suitcases.
Fatima was coming along for five cities then dropping off, while the rest of us continued. "Ya'll ready?" Brian asked as we approached the rest of the group of Boys and dancers. "Yeah." Alexia and I said. "OK, this is the bus set up." Brian began to explain. "Kev and Madison, bus #1. Howie and Imajin, bus #2. Nick, Melissa and Alexia, bus #3. Brian, Carrie and Faye, #4. Oh, that's me," Brian chuckled then continued to read from the piece of paper he was holding, "That leaves AJ, Raygn and Vegas on 5. Fatima, you can either ride along on Kev or Howie's bus." As everyone headed to their assigned bus, Vegas glared at me. "What? I can't help that this is how it's set up!" I said to her. "Just stay away from me." She mumbled back. I nodded and continued to our bus.  Once on, I set my bags down on my bunk, the one in the back, next to AJ's. Vegas' was in the front. I sat down on the pillow, pulled back the curtain and began to read my book. "Whatcha reading?" AJ asked unpacking some of his things as the buses began to pull away. "It's a dream interpretation book." I said not looking up. I then set the book on the bed next to me and reached into one of my suitcases, pulled out my disc man, put on the headphones and popped in a CD. "Dammit." I mumbled taking the headphones back off. "I knew I should've checked." I said to myself. "Batteries?" AJ asked. "Yeah, I forgot to check 'em before I left." "Here, I always keep some extras." He said handing me two AA batteries. "After we get going, we can set up the system." AJ said going back to his unpacking. "System?" I asked curiously. "Yeah, there's a stereo up there…" He pointed towards the front of the bus. "And we can set it up, and hook up the speakers that are back here." He then pointed to the speakers towards the top of the wall. "Oh, alright," I said, "this'll work for now. Thanks, I'll owe ya." I said putting my headphones back on and pushing play, going back to reading my book. "Heya, I never got to ask…" AJ began to say turning around but then noticed I was too into my book and didn't bother to repeat himself.

~~Meanwhile, on Nick's bus~~

"Hey Nicky, can you bring me my suitcase?" Melissa called from the back of the bus. "Fine." Nick grumbled grabbing the suitcase and heading towards the back. "Thanks. Oh and could you…" Melissa began to say. "He's not your slave Melly." Alexia said, who was sitting at the table. "Stay outta…" Melissa began to reply.
"I'm not your slave. And I'm changing places. You go to the front and Alexia and me will stay back here." Nick said standing up for himself. "Fine." Melissa picked up her stuff and went to the other bed. Alexia then got up and went to the back. "Way to show her!" She gave Nick a high-five. "See, that's what's cool about you… you speak your mind. Not afraid to blurt out whatever comes into your mind." Nick said sitting down. "Yeah, just like pointing out that your fly is open!" Alexia laughed. "What?" Nick said jumping up and checking his pants. "Gotcha!" Alexia playfully hit his arm laughing. "Ah, we are gonna get along great on this tour." Nick said sitting back down.

Fatima decided to bunk on Kevin's bus with Madison. "You girls take the back." Kevin offered as he had a sandwich. "Alright." Madison agreed. "Fatima… do you think we should switch around the bus arrangements?" Madison asked. "Why? Do you not want to ride with Kevin?" Fatima asked. "That's not it, it's just that Vegas and Ray ended up on the same bus, and Melly and Alexia are on together." Madison stated. "They are all professionals, they can handle it." Fatima said sitting down next to Mad. "You sure? Ray techinically isn't a pro." Madison said. "Are you saying that you don't like her too?" Fatima said standing back up. "No, no, that's not it. But that's why Lucky has a problem with her, cause 'she isn't a dancer'." Madison said mocking Vegas. Lucky is a nickname that Vegas has. "Oh." Fatima simply replied. "Well if it gets to be a problem we'll rearrange. Let's just see how it goes." Fatima added calmly. "K, if you are sure…" Madison began. "I'm sure." Fatima cut her off as she went out to sit by Kevin.  Madison sat, thinking, "I sure hope everything is alright on that bus. She said looking out the back window to the bus that was behind them." She looked up praying, "Please, Lucky, don't be a bitch, just for a couple months." She said to herself.  "Howie!" Imajin said jumping up after she read a note that was left on the table. "Did you know about this?" She said as Howie came over to her. "Did I know about what?" Howie repeated. "There is going to be a documentary made about the tour. Some writer is coming with us after we leave Dallas." Ima said pointing to the note. "I guess we're going to have company." He said calmly as he turned on the radio. "I'm nervous though. What if I end up looking like a fool?" Imajin worried. "You won't look like a fool." Howie comforted her. "Don't worry, nothing on this tour can go wrong." He added. That just what everyone thought, except Madison who knew the truth of the hatred between Vegas and Melissa against Raygn. Things may seem ok, they may seem calm… for now!
