The Ekklesia Ioannes o Baptistes believe that John the Baptist was the Messiah, the Anointed One of God, and the Savior of Israel.
We believe that he fulfilled the prophecies of the Messiah from the tanakh (Old Testament) and that he will return in glory with the LORD God at the end of the world. Then will all be judged by the LORD and the wicked will be destroyed. Then the Chosen people of God will live with Him and with the Messiah as their ruler forever.
We believe this to have been prophesised in the tanakh, particularly worthwhile checking out is the book of Malachi.
We believe that Christians are misguided, and wrong. We believe that they offend the LORD by claiming the man Jesus was equal with Him, and God with Him. We believe that a man cannot be God, and that God is one and alone, as it says in the Shema.
We believe you must follow the Way of Holiness (John's teachings) in order to be one of the Chosen.
We believe that our leader, the Seeker, John Mathetes, had revelation from the LORD, where he was given the testimony of John, and the ability to show us the Way of Holiness, that we might be saved in the Day of the LORD's coming.
We believe it is our duty to evangelise as much as possible, that as many people may be saved as it is possible to persuade.
We do not believe in doing violence to anyone, mind or body, in order to persuade them to join the Chosen.
