Why John is the Messiah

We realize that many may scoff at our revelation from the LORD, but there is more proof than the Book of the Messiah to prove John was the Christ:-

The prophesies that John the Baptist fulfilled, showing he was the Messiah.

1. Psalm 16:10 - He was not abandoned in the grave

2. Psalm 34:20 - No bones of his were broken in his execution

3. Psalm 41:9 - He was betrayed by his friend

4. Isaiah 7:14 - The son of a virgin - Elizabeth had no other children.

5. Isaiah 11:1 - A descendant of David

6. Isaiah 32:16 - Justice from the desert

7. Isaiah 35:5-10 - Showed the Way of Holiness the afflicted healed in spirit

8. Isaiah 40:3 - A voice in the desert

9. Isaiah 42:1-4 - To bring justice

10. Isaiah 50:4-7 - Obiedient, he did not hide from mockery or the pulling out of his beard

11. Isaiah 52:13-53 - He had no beauty. He was beaten. He was pierced. He was innocent of wrongdoing. He was killed with the wicked. Buried with the rich. He was a guilt offering.

12. Isaiah 57:1 - The righteous have perished to escape evil

13. Daniel 9:25-27 - The "sevens" are periods of seven years each. So the Anointed One is to die in 32CE.

14. Micah 5:2 - Born in Bethlehem

15. Zechariah 9:9 - Rode into Jerusalem on a donkey

16. Malachi 3:1 - Messenger before the LORD's coming. Went to the Temple.

17. Malachi 4:5 - Came as Elijah before the Day of the LORD.

This proves that John must have been the Messiah. Who else could have fulfilled all of these prophecies?
