••Charleston S.C. is a beautiful place to vacation! The History of Charleston goes back to the Civil War. Fort Sumter is located between two of the main island beaches in the middle of the harbor. Fort Sumter was built to protect "Charleston" from invasion so, there is a jetty (Large Rocks) running off the two main island beaches. Traveling into Charleston off the ocean is very dangerous due to the jetties because, there is "Only" one-way in and out between the rocks running several miles off the coast. One night, I nearly hit the jetties because, I was caught in a storm at night after, a great day of offshore fishing. The storm came up with no warning and I had "Only," one-way to travel to get home. Over the years, people have lost their lives from storms and darkness leading them into the large rocks with no sign or warning! Several years ago, a family traveling in a sailboat hit the large rocks in a stormy night! "No Survivors!" Please take a moment to pray for all of the "Special," families and people loved whom, should never be forgotten in History!
