In June of 2000 I began working at a call center in Christiansburg, VA for Dish Network.I began my entry level training with this company on June 5th, 2000. Within a months time the training was completed and we were introduced on the floor as customer service representatives. A month later, I was approached with a new position which had just been created known as the advanced technical group. As I am a very technical person any way, I thought I would take the test for the opportunity to take the position, not thinking of couse that I would make it. I aced the test and was now one of the Senior Advanced Techs for Dish Network. I held this position from August 11, 2000 until I stopped working there on July 21, 2001.
I am now currently an employee of AB&C Group in Orange.
I began my training at AB&C, another type of call center, on September 17th, 2001. Three weeks after training had completed, I was placed on the phones taking orders for two clients of the company. Within a month, I was also trained in a third client. I now take calls for all three of these, though we are about to lose one of them. I have been given a few chances to show my skills by taking the temporary posistion of Lead Support, which is someone who walks around and helps the other agents.
