It's so exciting after all the hard work of putting this together to be rewarded with the honor of funniest fic. It was a dream of mine once to be thought of as funny, and although few have humored me with the compliment, I knew in my heart of hearts that I was a hoot. Now not many of you know this, but being a 40 year old Brit, most don't find me at all humourous unless I'm dressed in drag (preferably the Queen of course) but luckily some find a laugh or two in some good old fashion euphemisms.

The person I really must thank is Evie who not only created the True Love Awards (and allowed a shlub like me to carry on the tradition), but also for creating the challenge thread that inspired these various pieces. I'd also like to thank a nameless person at TWoP who shall remain unidentified (not for protection or anything, merely because I can't remember the poster's name... it may have started with an 'L') for posting a rant about not being able to take a fic seriously with the word "cock" in it. Of course being the disrespectful soul that I am, I took it upon myself to mock them mercilessly with as many variations of the word "penis" as possible that I learned in Health class.

Of course I'd also like to thank my BOB 4 eva Katie who really isn't an inspiration to me in the fic world anymore, but certainly is an inspiration in my every day life. It's great to have somebody who can always make you smile and is always there to watch Veronica Mars episodes with. My loving parents (as portrayed by Catherine Hicks and Samuel L. Jackson) the lovely Elle and Kel must also be added to my list. Elle, of course, because she is much funnier and wittier than I am with her twisted obsession with Will and Aunt Gwen (although I've made all the banners, including the beautiful painting, so really I'm one to talk.) And to Kel because she is a much worthy opponent, I shall see you in Talas my greatest fiend.
