Runes

"Futhark" is Scandinavian runic alphabet, so in this mod you see present Scandinavian runes.

"Aett” is logical division of elder Futhark into four groups of runes, 8 runes in each group.

Each aett has own color of rune in game.

Note that an effect of runes has changed.

Rune word s

The only item classes for what runewords is allowed is the Weapon and Torso Armor excluding class-oriented runewords.

The only item quality for what runewords is allowed is the normal (white) items (no magic, no rare, no unique, no set).

Bonuses for runewords are based on "Accented Runes" ( underlined ) and correlate with item type.

All weapon runewords grants "+X to Life after Each Kill" and "+Y to All Statistics" in addition.

All torso armor runewords grants "+X% Enhanced Defense" and "Damage Reduced by Y%" in addition.

Remember that perfect gems in 3-letter and 5-letter runewords increases bonuses of "Accented Runes".

3-letter runewords:

First rune of any aett + any perfect gem + Last rune of same aett

4-letter runewords:

First rune of any aett + third rune of same aett + sixth rune of same aett + Last rune of same aett

5-letter runewords:

First rune of any aett + third rune of same aett + perfect gem + sixth rune of same aett + Last rune of same aett

6-letter runewords:

Variant 1: First rune of any aett + third rune of same aett + fourth rune of same aett + fifth rune of same aett + sixth rune of same aett + Last rune of same aett

Variant 2: First rune of any aett + second rune of same aett + fourth rune of same aett + fifth rune of same aett + seventh rune of same aett + Last rune of same aett

Blank Stones, Class Runes and Class Runewords

Blank Stone is stone on which you can engrave class rune. It is only way you can to do this. See Cube Recipe section to know how to make class runes with Blank Stone and perfect gems.

The only item class for what class runewords is allowed is the Helm. So you can to make class runewords in helms only. Also remember that you always need a helm with four sockets and four same class runes to make class runeword.
