Symbiotograms are ambigrams that can be read as a different word when they are rotated 180 degrees. The one above is a great example of Angel/Devil in a more classic style. Check out the awesome shirts featuring the Angel/Devil design here on spreadshirt!

I took one of the most popularly cited ambigrams of mine and gave it a make-over. This is what came out of the colorization of the ambigram. This is a great example of how graphic effects can enhance and bring to life an ambigram. You can click on this ambigram to view it a little larger.

Here's an ambigram of the name Casey. This one I gave a more modern/futuristic styling. This styling worked out really well because the word already had some symmetry in the letters before I made it into an ambigram. The a/e combination is already symmetrical in most typefaces. This gave the ambigram a very clean look, which is great for this sort of futuristic styling.

Sometimes it's good to have a little bit of obscurity to an ambigram. A lot of people like to “figure out” what your art has to say. I added in a streaking effect on this one, enlightened, to give it a “spiritual” look. I get a lot of requests for ambigrams in the style that John Langdon made for Dan Brown in his amazingly popular novel, Angels & Demons. This is one of the ambigrams I made in a style similar to Langdon's. I mixed Langdon's style with a little bit of art deco on this one. The straight lines, the stylistic extra lines and triangles. This is an ambigram of my first name, Eric.
