									Another glorified repaint, this figure was made with the body (and hat) of a Captain Piett figure, and the head of a Naboo Royal Security figure. The hats were cut off each figure, the heads were swapped using the "boil-and-pop" method, and then the hats were glued on again, with a little bit of custom fitting to make sure they fit snugly. The uniform was painted flat black (with the exception of the boots, that retain their original gloss black finish), and then several dullcoat layers were sprayed over the figure to even out the surface and give it that "mass-produced" look.
			It was not until the final dullcoat layer had been applied that I noticed that the rank badges on his chest should've been reduced significantly -- he's wearing a commander's uniform, but his rank badges indicate a captain or admiral's standing. I still intend to correct the error and repaint the figure at a later date.
									Even though the figure still shares the same body as the Captain Piett, the black uniform and different head make him unique enough to still look adequate posed next to Piett. Previous figure - Next figure - Back to index
			The face looks faintly like Commander Praji, Darth Vader's aide (seen at the beginning ofStar Wars,on Princess Leia's ship), particularly when the figure is posed next to the Sith Lord. Incidentally, that's the Commtech Darth Vader figure, with the cloth cape.
