The Thewphaingarm School English Program seeks to develop the student into a fluent speaker of both English and Thai in order to enable him or her to live and work in the globalized world. Our students will be educated, critical thinkers, but also have the potential to act as future leaders of their own environment and society. Thewphaingarm recognizes that nations can no longer exist in isolationism, and a knowledge of the world, and the ability to function within it, is essential for the success of an individual and the security of his or her future.

Thewphaingarm also is sensitive to the student's cultural identity and therefore seeks to create an individual who is capable of living and working in the international arena, and yet, who still retains his or her Thai identity. An education in the English language does not preclude an education on the culture and country the student lives in. Though the student will be immersed in the English language for the majority of academic subjects, Thewphaingarm still remains sensitive to developing a student's knowledge of the Thai language, arts, spirituality, and traditions.
