Charles Edward Davis is Clifford L Davis Grandfather and my Great Grandfather, born 28 Jun 1870 , deceased 24 Nov 1937. He married Sarah Annie Roberts born 1870, deceased 1948.   Cyrus Allen Davis born July 19, 1905 and deceased 1992, was the youngest of three surviving children of Charles Edward Davis and Sarah Annie (Roberts)Davis, the grandson of John Barton Davis, great-grandson of Elijah Davis, and great-great-grandson of James B Davis. 
Cyrus Allen Davis married Maye Foster on July 10, 1934.   She was born on October 16, 1906 and died in 1994. Clifford her son provided a copy of her diary and I published a small portion of if on Mom's memorial page.


    They had three children:

  1. Eugene Allen Davis born May 30 1935, married Shirley Ann Sweatman 1954, b. 1938. 10 Jan 2003 we received sad news that Eugene Davis passed away in Midland, Texas. Funeral Services tentatively set for 10:00 a.m. Monday, 13 January 2003 at Plainview Church of Christ in Plainview, Texas.
    They had two children:
    1. David Lynn Davis b. 1958, married Tammy, 1981, b. 1962. 
      They had two children.
      1. BreeAnne Nicole Davis, b. 1983.           
      2. Brandi Dianne Davis, b. 1984.
    2. Rhonda Jean Davis, b. 1960, married Marshal Lange McLean, born 1956.
      They had a son:          
      1. Jody Lange McLean, born 1985.
      Darren Marshall Markham was the second husband of Rhonda Jean Davis.  He was born in 1965.
        They had a daughter:           
      1. Courtney Amanda Markham, born 1991.

  2. Duward Foster Davis, b. 1938, married Joyce  Elizabeth Bagley,
         1957, b. 1938. 
      They had three children:
    1. Don Allen Davis, b. 1959 and d. 1993.  He married Taunia Beth McGann, b. 1960.
        They had two children:           
      1. Megan Elizabeth Davis, b. 1983.          
      2. Makenzie Paige Davis, b. 1986.
    2. Kelley Joe Davis, b. 1961, married RexAnne Jones, m, 1994, b. 1961.
        They had a daughter:        
      1. Amy Lauren Davis, b. 1995.
    3. Lisa Carol Davis, b. 1963, married Terry Mixson, b. 1963, m. 1984. 
        They had a daughter:        
      1. Callen McRae Mixson, b. 1986.

  3. Clifford Lynn Davis, b. 1940, married Judith Ann Cheves Davis,  b. 1943, m. 1969. Sad news 7 Aug 2004, Judith Davis passed away this Saturday morning in Covenant Lakeside Med Cntr in Lubbock, TX to sleep in the Arms of Jesus. Funeral Svcs 10 Aug 2004 at Church of Christ in Plainview, TX, interment at Parklawn Memorial Gardens in Plainview, TX.
      They had three children:
    1. Tanya Kay Davis, b. 1964, married Randy Joe Allen, b. 1953, .m 7/7/1997.
    2. Kevin Eric Davis, b. 1968, married Ellen Villbrant,         b. 1/26/1969, .m 1990. 
        They had a daughter:
      1. Haley Danelle Davis, b. 1996.
    3. Ira Newton Davis, b. 1971.
