On the left in the photo is Alvah Newton Davis, my grandfather. Middle of photo is Alvah's uncle, Ira A Davis. Viletta (Lane)Davis, Ira's wife is on viewer's right in the photo. The 1955 Chevrolet indicates the photo was not taken prior to 1955, perhaps grandmother davis took the photo in the late 50s or early 60s. I believe the locatation is just south-west of the Pursley Community in Navarro County, Texas at Ira's farm. I believe the only thing standing at that spot today is that cistern.
