Boots
          1988 - 1997

          Boots was a great cat. He was playful and loved to cuddle up on your lap. He had the loudest and happiest purr I've ever heard from a cat and he'd purr for hours at a time. He had a tough life but was happy anyhow. A family friend found him out in the street one cold day in 1988 and gave him to a loving home, ours. After my mom, brother and I had to move out of our house and into an apartment that didn't allow pets in 1990, we handed him over to my dad to keep. My dad made him an outdoor cat and my brother and I still got to see him every time we went to see our dad. He'd be so happy everytime we'd drive up. He finally gave out on that life on a cold day in 1997. I miss my "Bootsie". He was such a happy cat through it all.
